To our patients and families:

As we are all continuously inundated with COVID-19 news and information, we want to share some of our thoughts and plans during this unprecedented time of uncertainty.

We, as physicians who provide care for newborns, children and young adults, understand the trust you place in us to care for your families. That responsibility is what drives us daily to help you keep your children healthy and thriving.

This current situation does not change any of that. It does however require us to change some of our scheduling. Above all, we want to continue to be available to you in the same manner that we have always been, for both routine care as well as for illness. At the same time, we need to consider the safety of our patients, by helping to minimize the spread of illness.

As such, until new information guides us differently, well check up exams will be in the mornings for those babies under 2 years and illness visits will be in the afternoons. These illness visits will be in the form of a telemedicine appointment which we will assist you in setting up. Please click here for a telemedicine visit waiver. Our staff will be carefully screening and triaging each phone call so that we can determine how best to care for your child practically and thoroughly under these circumstances.

We know that this is a confusing and difficult time for all of you. Please know, we consider you and your children as extensions of our own families. We are continuing to follow recommendations and guidelines which update daily.  There will be some disruptions and changes to our daily routine, but your safety is of paramount importance to us.  Please do not hesitate to call our office if you have any questions.

As always, thank you for your understanding and partnership.
